Directed by
Olivier Godin studied film at Concordia University. Now we occasionally give him awards and scholarships. In 2014, the first retrospective of his work was presented at the Cinémathèque québécoise. His desire for cinema led him to produce, in a few years, three feature films and several shorts. He always works with modest means, in a resolutely artisanal spirit, which doesn’t stop his films from featuring battles, swords, knives, and bawdy jokes. In short: adventure! The flowers, however, are even more present in his films. His film LA SUITE CANADIENNE (2023) was selected at Pundo de Vista FF. His latest film, DON’T FORGET THE OATMEAL (2026), is a children’s movie for adults, featuring nasal pyramids ravaged by cocaine, kung fu, and far too many drawings of erect penises. Miraculously, he occasionally receives awards and grants.
